Welcome to Abeilhan

Our house in the Languedoc L'Herault region of France is available for holiday rentals.

Where is Abeilhan? Abeilhan is a small wine producing village in between Montpellier and Beziers, close to the sea.

It is a typical small Languedoc Herault village with much yellow stone and ancient character. Its history dates back 2900 years with the Roman, but it was in 995 that the fortified castle of Abeilhan was built. This has since been destroyed, however the 11th century Church and "circulades"- the fortified walls and houses buit around the castle - still stand.

Our village is a quality wine producer and visiting the five main domaines and the cave cooperative for tastings is an experience not to be missed.
